GRAND FINAL BETS đ
GRAND FINAL BEST BETS!
Punters,
Itâs here. Itâs finally here.
21 million eyes across the country all cast upon 44 soldiers.
An ensemble of gladiators with the world on their shoulders.
A single act of bravery, etched into the history of football folklore.
Who will stand up? Whose name will be engraved upon that glorious cup?
And more importantly, who wins the Normy???
THE NORMSMITH VOTING PANEL
Whatâs the most important thing in determining the winner of the illustrious Norm Smith medal? Did someone say the panel..? Correct.
JACK RIEWOLDT
Knows his footy. Will have the biggest impact on the voting panelâs thoughts.
Will love a forward (Joe, Charlie, Rayner)
All-round shrewd operator. If a backman is best on ground, Jack will give him votes.
ANNA HARRINGTON
A quick google search shows the âpronounsâ in the Twitter profile. The âHis/Herâ nonsense that swept the globe a few years ago. Think Brodie Grundy.
RORY SLOANE
Might be a little eccentric judging off his Brownlow performance.
A courageous operator. Think Heeney. Think Floppyâs man âDunksâ.
Will love a midfielder.
SHAUN BURGOYNE
A humble man. Will go with the crowd. Wonât do anything left field.
Knows his footy. Will just give the thing to whoever deserves it. Zero bias with Silk.
RILEY BEVERIDGE
Never heard of him, but I like the nameđş
WHO WINS?
Look, Iâve been saying that Sydney were sh*te and Brisbane were flag favourites since about round 10. Would it be rude of me to switch my tip right here at the pointy end of the season?
Yes. Yes it would.
The Lions have had the pain, the agony, the heartbreak. It puts a few hairs on the chest. A distinct hunger arises from a loss like that. Theyâll be ruthless today.
Floppy reckons Brizzy will get the choccies today in a thriller.
â
FLOPPYâS BEST
â
EITHER TEAM UNDER 15.5 POINTS ($2.50 POINTSBET)
*You can feel it in the air, no? This oneâs going down to the wire. A ripping bet.
â
TOM PAPLEY UNDER 13.5 DISPOSALS ($1.87 POINTSBET)
*I saw an interview with Brandon âThe Cadetâ Starcevich over the week, and my deary me did he look fired up. He was talking about devoting his game to completely shutting âThe Papsmearâ out of the game. And I believed him. He had âthat lookâ deep within his eyes.
â
JOSH DUNKLEY âTO POLL A VOTEâ ($4.00 POINTSBET)
*Look. There are a combined THIRTY votes given out today. And you simply KNOW that Floppyâs man âDunksâ will have his schnozz over the Sherrin all day. Sloaney will be loving him sick if he lays a few big tackles or does a hard tag and keeps Heeney out of the game. A great bet.
â
BRISBANE TO WIN BY 1-10 POINTS ($7.50 POINTSBET)
*One for the Lotto ticket buyers. A genuine sniff.

FLOPPYâS NORMY BETS
THE RATIONALE
Outside of that powerful engine, Sydney just donât have the players with enough upside to win the thing. Take a look at their Brownlow spread as evidence:
Not ONE best on ground performance outside of the 3 midfielders ALL YEAR. If Sydney win, you can bet your bottom dollar that itâs one of Heeney/Warner/Gulden.
Now, if you ask a Floppy Nut, Floppyâs man âDunksâ is every chance to perform a ârun withâ role against Heeney at the stoppages.
And that leaves me thinking that either âThe Chadâ or Floppyâs man Errol are much more likely to take the thing home. And with âThe Chadâ reportedly on his way back home to WA come seasonâs end, it doesnât seem right for him to win it over my man Errol.
And thatâs why Iâm backing Errol. The great man. Plus, his odds are a little juicer than the other two. And if you ask Floppy, he should be equal pegging with the favourites.
BRISBANE, on the other hand, play that quick, âsurge the ball forward at all costsâ type of style. And, if you scroll up about 3 swipes, youâll see that Floppy thinks big Jack Riewoldt will have a large say in the winner of this award.
What does that mean? It means the likes of Joe Daniher, Cam Rayner and Charlie Cameron come into play.
If Big Joe can kick 4 or 5, he wins the thing. If Little Charlie kicks 4 (very unlikely, he might just win the thing too.
THE SPREAD
Look, Iâm all about spreading the funds across a few likely selections, sitting back, cracking a frothy, and watching them go to work. With that in mindâŚ
If Floppy had $50 to spread on the Normy, hereâs how heâd spread it:
âThe Chadâ ($7.00) - $10
Errol Gulden ($9.00) - $15
Cam Rayner ($21.00) - $5
Joe Daniher ($26.00) - $10
Charlie Cameron ($41.00) - $5
Harris Andrews ($51.00) - $5
đ¨ THE BIG FLOPPYâ˘
*1 Multi worth >$5, all finalsâ˘
PAPLEY UNDER 13.5 ($1.87)
JASPA FLETCHER OVER 13.5 ($1.87)
LOGAN MORRIS UNDER 8.5 ($1.80)
$6.30 POINTSBET
Howâs that for a finish, Punters? A genuine smorgas board of punting selections for you to feast on.
What a season itâs been. Floppyâs had a blast. Letâs finish the thing with a bang, yeah?
Floppy.
